It lies 0.7 miles south-south-east of Truro (from Truro: bearing 155°T, OS grid SW 830 438). Beyond the warehouses, the vast, protected expanse of the Malpas Estuary SSSI stretches out, its mudflats gleaming like polished pewter under the shifting Cornish sky.
