OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.
Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.
📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.
Mode d'emploi.

Ozon rests within a landscape defined by the Ruisseau de Denis and the gentle rise of Montbard on the horizon. The air here carries the faint, sharp scent of box and thyme after rain, drifting from the nearby Bois Seigneur. This is a region of terraced hillsides where the mistral scours the ridges. Visitors can explore the nearby Défilé de Saint-Vallier, a striking gorge, or wander through the quiet paths of Les Jardins de la Galaure. Further afield, the archaeological remains of La Sarrasinière offer a silent witness to the layered history of these ancient, earth-bound lands.
