Costaros sits quietly upon the high plateau, a landscape defined by the rugged remnants of ancient volcanic activity and the vast, open sky. Nearby, the waters of le Bêthe wander through fields, while the Grand Bois offers a dense, sheltering presence against the bracing winds that sweep across these heights. To the west, the volcanic crater of Lac du Bouchet rests in stillness, a perfect mirror for the clouds. Visitors may wander toward the dramatic Cascade de la Beaume, where water carves its path through basalt, or explore the weathered stone ruins of the Château de Beaufort, which stand as silent sentinels over this austere and beautiful horizon.
Costaros s'ancre sereinement sur les hauteurs du plateau, un paysage marqué par le souffle des anciens volcans et l'immensité du ciel. À proximité, le cours du Bêthe serpente entre les pâturages, tandis que le Grand Bois offre un refuge végétal contre les vents vifs qui balayent ces terres d'altitude. Non loin, le Lac du Bouchet déploie son cratère paisible dans un écrin de silence.
