Frontenex rests in the cradle of the Savoie, where the shadow of the Montagne de Seythenex stretches across the valley floor. The great l'Isère flows close by, carving a path through a landscape defined by the thin, bright air of high altitudes. Nearby, the Parc Naturel Régional du Massif des Bauges offers a sanctuary of spruce and larch, while the distant, jagged silhouette of Mont Pécloz dominates the horizon.
