📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Porte-de-Savoie rests within the Parc Naturel Régional de Chartreuse, where the mountain's shadow lengthens across the valley floor. The landscape is defined by the proximity of Mont Granier, a limestone sentinel watching over the upland region of les Abîmes de Myans. Nearby, the Ruisseau du Bon de Loge murmurs through the terrain, while the larger waters of l'Isère and the Plan d'Eau des Lônes wait in the wider countryside.
