How to Use This Map / Mode d'emploi

Use the Map and Satellite buttons to switch between the street map and aerial imagery, and the + and − buttons to zoom. Click ⛶ Fullscreen for a larger view; press Escape or tap ✕ Exit Fullscreen to return.

OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.

Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.

📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Mode d'emploi.

About Doye

Doye rests upon the Montagne du Laveron, a landscape defined by limestone plateaux and the hush of the deep fir forest. Nearby, the Ruisseau de Combe Sandon carves its path through the terrain, while the dense timber of le Croiset defines the horizon. This is a region of karst springs and quiet, hard winters. A short distance away, the ruins of the Château de Nozeroy stand as a remnant of older times, while the nearby Source de l'Ain offers a glimpse of the region's hidden waters. Further afield, the striking Villa Palladienne at the Château de Syam reveals the elegant architectural heritage found within this rugged Jura setting.
