How to Use This Map / Mode d'emploi

Use the Map and Satellite buttons to switch between the street map and aerial imagery, and the + and − buttons to zoom. Click ⛶ Fullscreen for a larger view; press Escape or tap ✕ Exit Fullscreen to return.

OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.

Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.

📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Mode d'emploi.

About Kermoroc'h

Kermoroc'h rests in the quiet heart of the Côtes-d'Armor, a landscape defined by the Ruisseau de Grand Bois and the intricate tapestry of the Breton bocage. Here, sunken lanes wind through fields where granite and slate define the architecture, and the rain often drifts in from the Atlantic in soft, grey curtains. On the horizon, the heights of Ménez Bré stand as a silent sentinel over the countryside. A short journey away, the Château du Restmeur rises with quiet dignity, while the evocative Menhirs de Kerdudalou offer a glimpse into ancient stone mysteries. Further afield, the Parc Naturel Régional d'Armorique preserves the wild, enduring spirit of the region.
