How to Use This Map / Mode d'emploi

Use the Map and Satellite buttons to switch between the street map and aerial imagery, and the + and − buttons to zoom. Click ⛶ Fullscreen for a larger view; press Escape or tap ✕ Exit Fullscreen to return.

OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.

Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.

📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Mode d'emploi.

About Saint-Fiacre

Saint-Fiacre rests within a quiet landscape of hedged bocage and sunken lanes, where the light lingers long on summer evenings. The nearby Bois Meur offers a canopy of shelter, while the waters of le Trieux flow through the surrounding valleys. Beyond the immediate fields, the region reveals its ancient skin through the Allée couverte du Parc-Kerdic, a silent witness to eras long passed. Visitors may also trace the stoic forms of the Deux Menhirs de Kergoff or wander the atmospheric grounds of the Abbaye de Coatmalouen, where stone and shadow evoke the enduring, granite-hewn character of this Breton heartland.
