Daoulas sits quietly within the Parc Naturel Régional d'Armorique, a landscape defined by the shifting light of the Atlantic and the presence of the Rivière de Daoulas. Daoulas s'inscrit sereinement au sein du Parc Naturel Régional d'Armorique, un territoire rythmé par la lumière changeante de l'Atlantique et le cours de la Rivière de Daoulas. Le paysage se compose de granit et d'ardoise, où le bocage se fond dans l'air humide propre à ce Finistère. À proximité de la Rade de Brest, le Ménez Du marque l'horizon, tandis que la Forêt Domaniale du Gars offre une ombre ancienne. C'est un pays de bruyère et de lumière estivale prolongée, où la terre semble stabilisée par la proximité immédiate de l'océan.
