Locquirec sits where the land yields to the English Channel, defined by the sharp edges of granite and the rhythmic pull of the tide. The landscape is a patchwork of hedged bocage and sunken lanes, where gorse and heather cling to the headlands. Nearby, the river le Pontelour flows toward the sea, while the quiet nature reserve at Moulin de la Rive preserves the coastal character of the commune.
