Plogoff sits in the Finistère region of Bretagne, a rugged commune defined by the Atlantic Ocean’s edge. Plogoff s'inscrit dans le paysage du Finistère, au sein de la Bretagne, là où la terre semble s'effilocher face à l'immensité de l'océan Atlantique. Le territoire se compose d'un bocage tourmenté, ponctué de landes de bruyère et d'ajoncs que les embruns viennent régulièrement fouetter. Au cœur de la commune, l'église Saint-Collodan impose sa silhouette de granit, témoin silencieux de la vie locale.
