Pont-Aven rests within a landscape shaped by the restless pull of the Atlantic, where estuaries carve deep into the land. The surroundings are defined by the river l'Aven and the nearby woodland of Bois d'Amour, where the long summer light filters through the canopy. Pont-Aven s'inscrit dans un paysage sculpté par l'attraction de l'Atlantique, où les rias entaillent profondément les terres. Les environs sont rythmés par le cours de l'Aven et la proximité du Bois d'Amour, dont les frondaisons captent la lumière étirée de l'été.
