Locoal-Mendon rests within a landscape shaped by granite and slate, where the hedged bocage gives way to the tidal rhythms of the Ria d'Etel. Nearby, the waters of le Calavret and the Étang de Saint-Jean offer a quiet reflection of the shifting Atlantic skies. Locoal-Mendon s'inscrit dans un paysage de granit et d'ardoise, où le bocage se fragmente au rythme des marées de la Ria d'Etel. À proximité, les eaux du Calavret et de l'Étang de Saint-Jean reflètent la lumière changeante des ciels atlantiques. Le relief s'élève doucement vers le sommet de Goh Velen, tandis que la pointe de Beg er Saout dessine la transition entre la terre ferme et le littoral proche de la baie de Biscaye.
