OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.
Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.
📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.
Mode d'emploi.

Mausoléo rests within the rugged folds of the Castellu Muntone, a sanctuary of stone cradled by the Parc Naturel Régional de Corse. Here, the scent of immortelle drifts from the maquis, and the Ruisseau de Buginu carves its path through the quiet slopes. Nearby, the Forêt Territoriale de Tartagine-Melaja offers a canopy of ancient timber, while the heights of Monte Padru dominate the horizon. A visitor may venture further to discover the Phare de la Pietra, marking the wild coast, or contemplate the stoic ruins of the Tour de Saleccia and the distant Château-fort, reminders of a time when stone watched over the sea.
