Pietracorbara rests where the granite slopes of the Pointe de Colombara meet the deep scent of the maquis. The Ruisseau de Pietracorbara carves its path toward the Tyrrhenian Sea, while the Monte Alticcione stands watch over the chestnut forests and the high bare ridges. Nearby, the Tour d'Orneto rises as a silent sentinel within the village. A short journey away, the ruins of the Ancien couvent d'Oveglia offer a hollowed sanctuary, and the Tour de Capo Sagro stands weathered on its headland. Here, the mountains rise straight out of the sea, echoing with the quiet history of drystone walls and the enduring fragrance of immortelle.
