Dalhunden s'étire paisiblement dans la plaine du Rhin, bercée par les eaux du Ruisseau le Landgraben et la proximité du Rhin. L'atmosphère est ici empreinte de la sérénité du Rhin Supérieur / Oberrhein, une zone humide où le regard se perd vers le Heidenberg, visible sur la ligne d'horizon.
