Daubensand s'étire au sein de la plaine rhénane, une commune paisible bordée par les bras du Rhin et la densité sylvestre de la Forêt Domaniale de Daubensand. Le paysage est façonné par le cours du fleuve et les zones préservées de la réserve naturelle du Rhin Supérieur.
