📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Auve sits quietly within the expansive cereal plains of the Marne, where the horizon stretches wide across the dry Champagne pouilleuse. The river l'Auve meanders close by, carving a gentle path through a landscape defined by chalky earth and distant wooded crests. Nearby, the silhouette of le Blanc Gâtel rises against the sky, while the Gorge de la Renardière marks the wilder terrain further out. Visitors can explore the historic Moulin de Valmy, sense the solemn stillness of the 1914-18 battlefields at the Monument ossuaire de la Haute-Chevauchée, or admire the intricate stone facade of the Basilique Notre-Dame de l'Épine.
Auve s'inscrit paisiblement au cœur des grandes plaines céréalières de la Marne, là où l'horizon se déploie sur la Champagne pouilleuse. La rivière l'Auve serpente à proximité, dessinant un sillage discret à travers un paysage de craie et de crêtes boisées. Au loin, le relief de le Blanc Gâtel se découpe dans le ciel, tandis que la Gorge de la Renardière ponctue les terres sauvages alentour.
