Here, the earth is marked by the vast cereal plains and the deep stillness of les Petits Sarts woodland. To the south, the horizon rises toward the Mont de Fourche, while the Etangs de la Champagne Humide offer a sanctuary for shifting light and water. Nearby, the Enceinte protohistorique dite "Camp des Louvières" whispers of ancient, buried lives. A short journey brings one to the Collegiale Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, a stone testament to time, or the graceful, weathered ruins of the Façade de la Chapelle du Collège des garçons.
Couvrot s'ancre dans un paysage dicté par le cours paisible de la Marne et la proximité du Canal Latéral à la Marne.
