Rédange s'installe sur le plateau de la Moselle, là où la forêt des Sapinières vient frôler les champs. Le paysage est sculpté par la géométrie rigide de la cuesta, une terre marquée par l'héritage du fer et le parfum de la terre humide. À proximité, le Canal du Moulin serpente avec une lenteur délibérée, tandis que le sommet de die Hoehe veille silencieusement sur le village.
