Le village se fond dans un relief de plateau et de cuesta, marqué par la pierre ocre rouge et la proximité du Bois d’Hunting. Le visiteur pourra découvrir la Chartreuse de Rettel, ou s'immerger dans l'histoire en explorant l'Ouvrage Maginot du Galgenberg, témoin silencieux de la ligne fortifiée.
