📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Ferdrupt lies cradled within the Parc Naturel Régional des Ballons des Vosges, where the forest presses against the fields and the Ruisseau de Ferdrupt hums through the landscape. Nearby, the horizon is defined by the summit of the Ballon de Servance and the high passage of the Col des Croix. This is a land of iron and stone, where the forest comes right up to the village edges. Visitors may explore the evocative Anciennes Mines d'Argent, walk near the Réserve Biologique Dirigée de Longegoutte, or visit the Musée départemental de la Montagne, which captures the quiet, enduring spirit of these high, wooded valleys.
