OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.
Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.
📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.
Mode d'emploi.

Audigny sits quietly within the expansive plains of the Aisne, a landscape defined by the rhythmic geometry of beet and wheat fields. Near the cooling presence of l'Oise and the shadowed timber of the Bois de Louvry, the terrain rises gently toward Mont Pourri. Under the vast, shifting skies characteristic of the region, the architecture remains anchored in local brick. A short journey reveals the imposing Donjon du château de Guise, a remnant of weathered stone, or the peaceful paths of the Axe vert de la Thiérache. Nearby, the history of the region lingers in the solemn grounds of the WW1 Bataille de Guise.
