📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Barenton-Cel sits within a landscape of wide, productive plains where beet and wheat stretch toward a horizon of low, grey clouds. The Ru des Barentons winds quietly through the fields, a modest presence in this flat, fertile expanse. Nearby, the local history reveals itself in the weathered stone of the Porte d'Ardon and the quiet, evocative ruins of the Ancienne église Notre-Dame-la-Profonde. Barenton-Cel s'inscrit au cœur d'une vaste plaine agricole où la culture de la betterave et du blé domine sous un ciel souvent bas et nuageux.
