How to Use This Map / Mode d'emploi

Use the Map and Satellite buttons to switch between the street map and aerial imagery, and the + and − buttons to zoom. Click ⛶ Fullscreen for a larger view; press Escape or tap ✕ Exit Fullscreen to return.

OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.

Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.

📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Mode d'emploi.

About Brasseuse

Brasseuse sits quietly within the Parc Naturel Régional Oise-Pays de France, where the landscape is defined by the steady rhythm of beet and wheat fields under vast, shifting skies. The nearby Remise de Villers offers a sliver of woodland, while the gentle flow of l'Aunette traces the valley floor. To the horizon, the silhouette of Mont Pagnotte anchors the view. Visitors can explore the evocative Prieuré de Bray, feel the weight of history at the Abbaye Royale du Moncel, or wander the grounds of the Château de Raray, where the architecture mirrors the brick-toned traditions of this northern plain.
