How to Use This Map / Mode d'emploi

Use the Map and Satellite buttons to switch between the street map and aerial imagery, and the + and − buttons to zoom. Click ⛶ Fullscreen for a larger view; press Escape or tap ✕ Exit Fullscreen to return.

OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.

Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.

📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Mode d'emploi.

About Landisacq

Landisacq sits quietly within the verdant bocage, a tapestry of small fields and thick hedges where cattle graze in wet pastures. The Ruisseau des Viviers meanders through this landscape, leading the eye toward the still waters of the Étang de la Visance. Nearby, the Bois de l'Abbaye offers a dense canopy, while the silhouette of the Mont de Cerisy rises on the horizon. Visitors might wander to the Château de Flers to admire its stone heritage, explore the ancient Ifs Millénaires, or seek the peaceful, storied grounds of the Abbatiale Notre-Dame, all set under the soft grey light of the Normandie-Maine region.
