How to Use This Map / Mode d'emploi

Use the Map and Satellite buttons to switch between the street map and aerial imagery, and the + and − buttons to zoom. Click ⛶ Fullscreen for a larger view; press Escape or tap ✕ Exit Fullscreen to return.

OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.

Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.

📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Mode d'emploi.

About Bradiancourt

Bradiancourt sits quietly within the verdant bocage of Normandy, a landscape defined by thick hedgerows and the quiet persistence of wet pastures. Nearby, the Bois du Saussay offers a shaded retreat, while the gentle Ruisseau des Fontaines traces a path through the fields. On the horizon rises the Mont Bernier, overseeing a countryside where apple orchards and flint-built structures anchor the view. Visitors can explore the nearby Bois de Mainemare or venture further to admire the architectural legacy of the Château de Bosmelet. The area holds the soft grey light of the north, where history is felt in the stillness of the land.
