OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.
Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.
📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.
Mode d'emploi.

Les Ifs sits quietly within the landscape of Seine-Maritime, surrounded by a bocage of small fields and thick hedges. Here, the soft grey light beloved by painters filters through the trees of the nearby Bois de Grosfy, casting long shadows over wet pastures where cattle graze. In the wider countryside, the horizon is shaped by the gentle rise of Mont Caboche and the slopes of la Coupette. Visitors can explore the historic Château d'Eu, discover the curated collections of the Musée Louis-Philippe, or seek out the weathered remnants of the Château d'Arques-la-Bataille, all standing as testament to the layered history of Normandie.
