How to Use This Map / Mode d'emploi

Use the Map and Satellite buttons to switch between the street map and aerial imagery, and the + and − buttons to zoom. Click ⛶ Fullscreen for a larger view; press Escape or tap ✕ Exit Fullscreen to return.

OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.

Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.

📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Mode d'emploi.

About Toussaint

Toussaint sits nestled within the quiet bocage, where thick hedges divide small, verdant fields and apple orchards thrive in the soft, grey light. Nearby, the Rivière de Valmont winds through the landscape, while the English Channel breathes its sea fog onto the flint-rich earth. The Bois de Fiquainville offers a sheltered retreat, echoing the stillness of this rural corner of Normandie. A short journey away, the Château de la Marnière reveals its local character, while the remnants of the Château de Fécamp and the collections of the Musée des Pêcheries invite visitors to contemplate the enduring weight of this coastal region.
