How to Use This Map / Mode d'emploi

Use the Map and Satellite buttons to switch between the street map and aerial imagery, and the + and − buttons to zoom. Click ⛶ Fullscreen for a larger view; press Escape or tap ✕ Exit Fullscreen to return.

OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.

Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.

📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Mode d'emploi.

About Cazeneuve-Montaut

Cazeneuve-Montaut rests within the rolling hills of the Petites Pyrénées, where the landscape is defined by the Ruisseau de Cazeneuve and the rhythmic cycle of wheat and sunflowers. Here, the heat of noon brings the song of cicadas to the ridge lines. Visitors can explore the historic Château de Montaut standing within the village or wander toward the Grottes de Rodes to touch the cool, ancient stone. Further afield, the distant summit of the Piton de Montpezat anchors the horizon, while the proximity to the Garonne provides a quiet, perennial presence in this corner of Occitanie.
