OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.
Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.
📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.
Mode d'emploi.

Falga sits quietly amidst the rolling hills of the Haute-Garonne, a landscape defined by the golden geometry of wheat and sunflower fields. The Ruisseau de l'Olivet meanders through this pastoral expanse, while the distant, rugged silhouettes of the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc mark the horizon. Nearby, the architectural legacy of the region reveals itself in the sturdy stone of the Collégiale Saint-Félix and the evocative, sun-bleached frame of the Moulin à vent de Caunes. Further afield, the ancient mysteries of the Fouilles archéologiques de Peyre Clouque rest under the dry, cicada-drenched heat of the Occitan afternoon.
