How to Use This Map / Mode d'emploi

Use the Map and Satellite buttons to switch between the street map and aerial imagery, and the + and − buttons to zoom. Click ⛶ Fullscreen for a larger view; press Escape or tap ✕ Exit Fullscreen to return.

OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.

Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.

📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Mode d'emploi.

About Lagrâce-Dieu

Lagrâce-Dieu rests within the rolling hills of Haute-Garonne, where the scent of wheat and sunflowers defines the long, dry afternoons. The Ruisseau de Bouthaère winds gently through this quiet landscape, framed by the nearby Bois du Juge. In the wider countryside, the horizon is marked by the distant silhouette of le Tucau. Visitors can explore the historic Château Roquette, standing as a sentinel over the fields, or seek the shade of the Bosc Grand. Further afield, the Moulin de Pesquies offers a glimpse of the region’s traditional rhythm, set against the backdrop of an ancient, sun-drenched earth.
