📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Bordes nestles in the quiet folds of the Hautes-Pyrénées, where the landscape is defined by the winding waters of le Caparrieu and the nearby expanse of the Lac de l'Arrêt darré. Bordes se blottit dans les plis paisibles des Hautes-Pyrénées, où le paysage est façonné par les méandres du Caparrieu et la proximité du Lac de l'Arrêt darré. Au sud, la chaîne se dresse telle une muraille, souvent couronnée par les orages qui s'amoncellent sur les sommets. Au-delà des champs et de l'ombre du Bois de Lansac, le Soum du Buala marque l'horizon.
