How to Use This Map / Mode d'emploi

Use the Map and Satellite buttons to switch between the street map and aerial imagery, and the + and − buttons to zoom. Click ⛶ Fullscreen for a larger view; press Escape or tap ✕ Exit Fullscreen to return.

OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.

Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.

📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Mode d'emploi.

About Autignac

Autignac rests within the rolling embrace of the Montagne de la Boutine, a landscape shaped by schist and the subtle scent of thyme after rain. Nearby, the river le Tauroussel meanders through this quiet territory, buffered by the shaded seclusion of the Bois de Fabrègues. Within the wider countryside, the imposing Château de Grézan stands as a sentinel over the slopes, while the ruins of the Château de Cabrerolles evoke a vanished age upon the heights. Beyond, the Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc offers an expansive wilderness where mistral-scoured ridges define the horizon.
