La Tour-sur-Orb s'inscrit au cœur du Parc Naturel Régional du Haut Languedoc, là où le paysage se dessine entre les reliefs de le Pioch et le cours tranquille de l'Orb. C'est un pays de schiste et de châtaigniers, où les terrasses s'élèvent vers les sommets du Mont Coudour. Après la pluie, l'air s'imprègne des senteurs de buis et de thym, tandis que les crêtes proches du Bois de Fialhomme semblent veiller sur la vallée. La terre y dégage une atmosphère ancienne, façonnée par des vents qui balayent les hauteurs et des chemins creux menant au silence des collines.
