How to Use This Map / Mode d'emploi

Use the Map and Satellite buttons to switch between the street map and aerial imagery, and the + and − buttons to zoom. Click ⛶ Fullscreen for a larger view; press Escape or tap ✕ Exit Fullscreen to return.

OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.

Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.

📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Mode d'emploi.

About Milhac

Milhac rests quietly within the Bassin de la Dordogne, cradled by the rolling hills of the Lot. The landscape is defined by the gentle flow of la Relinquière and the deep, silent shadows of the Bois de Milhac. Nearby, the Grottes de Cougnac reveal ancient secrets etched into stone, while the formidable Château de Fénelon stands as a testament to the region’s enduring stonecraft. Travelers may also discover the Dolmen de Giverzac, a weathered monolith marking a landscape where sheep graze upon the causse limestone. It is a place of dry heat, where the hum of cicadas accompanies the slow rotation of the seasons.
