Nearby, the dramatic ruins of the Tour de Cabrens stand as a sentinel over the landscape. Further afield, one encounters the ancient, weathered stones of the Dolmen de Castillo and the historic walls of the Porte d'Espagne, each marking the slow passage of time in these high, secluded valleys.
