Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.
📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Latour-de-France sits within the rugged embrace of the Corbières-Fenouillèdes regional nature park, where the landscape is defined by the shifting moods of the Mont Tauch. Afternoon storms often gather over the heights, casting long shadows across the valley floor carved by the Ruisseau de Cuchoux. Beyond the village, the terrain rises toward the distant Puèg de la Corona, framing a world of stone and slate that feels removed from the rush of the modern age. Visitors wandering from the village might seek out the lingering silence of the Menhir dit la Peyre Drète, a stoic sentinel in the open landscape. Further exploration brings one to the imposing ruins of the Château de Quéribus, perched high above the surrounding expanse, or the remnants of the Château de Tautavel. Latour-de-France s'inscrit au cœur du parc naturel régional des Corbières-Fenouillèdes, où le paysage est façonné par les reliefs austères du Mont Tauch. Les orages estivaux se forment régulièrement au-dessus des sommets, balayant la vallée que traverse le Ruisseau de Cuchoux. Le village, enraciné dans une terre de pierre, regarde vers le lointain Puèg de la Corona.
