How to Use This Map / Mode d'emploi

Use the Map and Satellite buttons to switch between the street map and aerial imagery, and the + and − buttons to zoom. Click ⛶ Fullscreen for a larger view; press Escape or tap ✕ Exit Fullscreen to return.

OFFICIAL FRENCH MAPS. The green 🔍 Search Maps button opens a second map with three base layers: OSM (OpenStreetMap), Plan IGN — France's official national map from the Institut national de l'information géographique et forestière — and Photos, the IGN's aerial photography. Two overlays go over any of them: Contours, the IGN's contour lines, and Relief, hillshading from the RGE ALTI one-metre terrain model. The search box finds any place in France or beyond by name.

Click Grid to overlay the UTM grid — one-kilometre squares at normal zoom. Click Measure and tap two points for the distance plus the grid, true and magnetic bearing.

📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Mode d'emploi.

About Tassé

Tassé sits quietly within the verdant landscape of the Sarthe, where the Ruisseau de l'Arche winds through fields and gentle woodland. While the wider region offers the expansive Parc Naturel Régional Normandie-Maine, the immediate vicinity is defined by a serene, inland character far from the salt marshes or coastal horizons. Visitors might wander toward the Château de la Balluère, which stands as a silent sentinel nearby, or explore the historic remnants of the Vieille Tour. Further afield, the Manoir de la Cour offers a glimpse into the architectural heritage of this peaceful territory, balanced by the nearby flow of la Sarthe.
