📍 My position takes a single GPS reading and shows it as an MGRS reference, as plain UTM, as Lambert-93 (the French national grid, EPSG:2154) and as latitude and longitude, with a Copy position button. Map tiles need mobile coverage; a GPS reading does not.

Quinson sits within the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon, a landscape defined by the limestone relief of les Cuguyons and the quiet shade of la Séuve. Here, the Ancien Canal du Verdon traces the edge of the village, meeting the deep, still waters of the Lac d'Esparron. Nearby, the Basses Gorges du Verdon carve dramatic paths through the earth, leading explorers to the prehistoric silence of the Grotte de la Baume Bonne. Further into the hills, the ancient Baume des Pierres hides in the rock, while the sturdy walls of the Château d'Esparron overlook the horizon.
Quinson s'inscrit dans le Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon, au sein d'un relief marqué par les terres hautes des Cuguyons et l'ombre portée de la Séuve.
