Caderousse sits within a landscape of hard light and short shadows, where the mistral scours the sky clean above the Plateau de Lacau. The Mayre des Cairannes winds through this terrain, while the wider Rhône flows nearby, anchoring the commune in the ancient rhythms of the valley. To the east, the UNESCO biosphere reserve of Mont Ventoux rises on the horizon, a constant presence above the vines.
