The landscape is defined by the hard light and short shadows of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, where the Vallat du Maupas winds through a terrain of plane-shaded squares and dry watercourses. Nearby, the Bois de la Cour offers a quiet woodland refuge, while the Sommet de Gacholle rises on the horizon.
