Über Jachenhausen

Jachenhausen ist ein kleiner Ortsteil, der eingebettet in die sanfte Hügellandschaft der Fränkischen Alb liegt. Gelegen im Naturpark Altmühltal, ist das Dorf von weiten Feldern und Wäldern umgeben, während der Main-Donau-Kanal die Umgebung durchzieht. Unweit erhebt sich die Kumpfleite, die der Landschaft eine ruhige Prägung verleiht. Wanderer finden in der Nähe die Karstquelle Gundlfing, aus der das Wasser klar ans Tageslicht tritt.
