Steibis liegt als beschaulicher Ortsteil von Oberstaufen eingebettet in die sanften Hügel des Bregenzerwaldes, die zum Naturpark Nagelfluhkette gehören. Ganz in der Nähe zieht die Weißach ihre Bahnen durch das Land, während der Hündlekopf als markanter Gipfel den Horizont bestimmt.
