Vaake rests gently within the landscape of the Weserbergland, where the river Weser carves a path through the valley. The village is embraced by the trees of the Staatsforst Bramwald and sheltered by the slopes of the Vaaker Berg, all nestled deep inside the Naturpark Reinhardswald.
