Capragrassa II is a small hamlet resting upon the slopes of Colle Pazzo, where the air feels thin and sharp against the open fields of the Abruzzo landscape. The terrain shifts from the gentle presence of nearby Colle Palumbo toward the distant, rugged silhouettes of the Parco Nazionale della Maiella. Within the wider comune of Atessa, the life of the land is defined by the proximity of the Fiume Sangro and the ancient, weathered stones of the Mura Megalitiche di Pallanum. A short journey leads to the imposing Duomo di San Leucio, while the silence of the countryside remains broken only by the wind moving across the ridges.
Capragrassa II è un piccolo borgo adagiato sui pendii di Colle Pazzo, dove l’aria si fa tersa e sottile sopra i campi aperti del paesaggio abruzzese. Il terreno declina dolcemente dalla vicina altura di Colle Palumbo verso le sagome lontane del Parco Nazionale della Maiella. Nel vasto territorio del comune di Atessa, la vita rurale è scandita dalla presenza del Fiume Sangro e dai resti austeri delle Mura Megalitiche di Pallanum. Un breve tragitto conduce al Duomo di San Leucio, che domina lo spazio circostante, mentre il silenzio della campagna viene interrotto soltanto dal respiro del vento che attraversa le creste.
