Colle Stella sits quietly as a frazione of Silvi, anchored to the land by its own summit and the steady presence of Fonte S. Stefano. The air here holds the scent of the nearby Laghetti Artificiali d'Onofrio, while the horizon is defined by the distant, jagged mass of the Gran Sasso d'Italia. To the east, the Area Marina Protetta Torre del Cerrano guards the Adriatic edge.
