Decima is a small hamlet within the comune of Belpasso, set upon a rugged hill where the air carries the dry, shifting breath of the inland plains. The landscape is defined by the volcanic presence of Poggio Capraio and the ancient, hardened streaks of the Lava del 1669. While Monte Etna dominates the northern skyline, the surroundings remain quiet, marked by the sparse terrain towards the Fiume Simeto.
