Pré-Saint-Didier lies where the Doire de Courmayeur and the Dora Baltea converge, their cold waters carving through the mountain floor. The air here holds the crisp, sharp edge of the high Alps, with the massive silhouette of Monte Bianco rising above the surrounding woodland of Bosco Montet. Visitors find respite in the thermal waters of the QC Terme Pré Saint Didier, or descend into the dark, narrow gorge of the Orrido Pré-Saint-Didier to watch the torrent rush below. Near the village, the Chiesa di San Pantaleone offers a quiet space where the light softens against the stone walls.
