High Bullen emerges from the rolling Devon terrain as a quiet collection of dwellings defined by the slow, deliberate turn of the seasons. It lies 2.6 miles east-north-east of Great Torrington (from Great Torrington: bearing 71°T, OS grid SS 534 204), and is situated north of St Giles in the Wood village.
